Overview

U.S. Growth Funds is a private equity buy-out group based in Fort Worth, Texas. Over the past 10 years, we have provided more than $5 billion of financing and capital to private and public companies.

USGF invests in both debt and equity securities of middle-market businesses to fund acquisitions, recapitalizations and going-private transactions. We generally invest $1 million to $5 million in each transaction.

In addition to direct investments in middle market businesses, we also make selective strategic investments in private equity funds and SBIC's focused on the lower middle market.

Our investments offer an attractive source of equity or quasi-equity capital for middle market businesses. USGF's strategy with respect to its private equity investments may take the form of unsecured and subordinated notes which are convertible into equity shares or have warrants attached which grant USGF the option to purchase equity shares at a predetermined price. These securities and/or notes typically have mandatory redemption requirements or maturities of less than five years and require monthly dividends or interest payments.

Over the past 10 years, the company has posted strong growth and healthy returns on its investments in portfolio companies.
